Resource packs installation

Note

The following instructions expects that Minecraft Bedrock Edition is already installed on your system and that you have ran the game at least once.

Installing resource pack

Assuming you have already downloaded the resource pack, double-click the .mcpack file, it should automatically open Minecraft and import the resource pack for you.

When the resource pack is imported, There are two ways to apply the resource pack.

  1. Installing the resource pack for a specific world.
  2. Installing the resource pack globally

Installing the resource pack for a specific world

In-game on the world screen, click on the pencil icon next to the world you want to apply the resource pack to.

After that, go to "Resource packs" and switch to the "Available" tab, then under "Owned" you will see the resource pack.
Click on the Activate button next to the resource pack to move it to the "Active" section.

The resource pack will now be applied to that world only.

Installing the resource pack globally

In-game go to settings from the main menu, then go to "Global Resources", you should see the resource pack in the "My Packs" section.
Click on the resource pack and then click on "Activate" to move it to the "Active" section.

The resource pack will now be applied to all worlds.

Resource pack modes

The resource pack comes with 2 different modes:

  1. Vibrant Visuals
  2. RTX

Using correct resource pack mode

The resource pack mode must be set to the same mode as your Minecraft graphics mode.

You can check your Minecraft graphics mode by going to settings and then "Video".

Changing resource pack mode for a specific world

In-game on the world screen, click on the pencil icon next to the world you want to change the resource pack mode for.

After that, go to "Resource packs" and In the "Active" section, click on the resource pack's "Settings" option.

In the resource pack settings popup, take the slider left to right or vice versa to change the resource pack mode.

Changing resource pack mode for a globally applied resource pack

In-game go to settings from the main menu, then go to "Global Resources", under the "Active" section click on the resource pack and then click on the "Gear" icon.

In the resource pack settings popup, take the slider left to right or vice versa to change the resource pack mode.

Not using the correct resource pack mode may cause issue with the textures.
